When a global football giant wished to reinforce their commitment to the grassroots level of the game, we suggested a smarter approach; give traditional media a body-swerve and opt for a CSR strategy instead.
The idea then unfolds to go multi-channel with star players unexpectedly turning up at tree planting sites chosen through a Facebook competition. TV spots then show the stars having a kick-about with locals, using the newly made goals.
